BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:


Entered the real estate profession in Louisiana in 1972 as a sales agent and was licensed as a real estate broker in Louisiana in 1977.  Began specializing in the appraisal of real estate in 1974, and actively engaged in the appraisal, development and brokerage of real estate in Lafayette, Louisiana.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

     Appraiser:

Appraisals of single and multi-family residential properties, commercial and industrial properties, subdivisions, farmland, and reports for condemnation for which expert witness testimony was rendered.  Have also appraised special purpose properties to include schools, manufacturing facilities, auditoriums, and planned unit developments up to 10,000 acres in size.  Have qualified as an expert in the appraisal of real estate in the state district courts of Lafayette, Vermilion, Acadia, St. Landry, Iberia and Cameron Parishes.

      Developer/Broker:

Licensed as a real estate broker in 1977 and have been actively engaged in the brokerage of real estate since that time.  During the late 1970’s and early 80’s developed office projects and residential subdivisions.  For the past ten years’ development experience includes development coordinator and leasing agent for six strip shopping centers totaling almost 135,000 square feet, and redevelopment and leasing agent of a former Jumbo Sports building of 40,000 square feet.  In addition, I have developed office warehouse “flex-space” building of just under 30,000 square feet, a seven-acre light industrial park and coordinator of construction of five build to suit facilities within this park.  Currently President of Development and managing broker for RPI Group, LLC (www.rpigroupllc.com).  Some of the recent developments completed by RPI Group, LLC includes Dover Park and Versailles Square, both of which are office condominium projects, Hanover Park which is an integrated business park with Staybridge Suites as the major anchor, Normandy Square and Southern Plaza both of which are retail shopping centers and a development of new out parcel in front of former Jumbo Sports building, now Caffery Plaza.   Projects currently in progress include the expansion of Southern Plaza.

Over the years, I have acted as broker in the sales and leasing of shopping centers, office/warehouse facilities professional and medical office buildings, free standing retail buildings and vacant commercial and residential land.  

EDUCATION:

Graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1968 with a BA in marketing and economics.

Successfully completed the following courses offered through the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, now known as the Appraisal Institute.

Harold Lambert of RPI Group has been developing office projects, residential subdivisions, light industrial parks and facilities and neighborhood shopping centers since the late 1970's. He has also been responsible for redevelopment of shopping centers and second generation large retail facilities.
